Black Walnut Sweepstakes

Sweep

Awards are presented each year at the Black Walnut Festival™ for the finest mature black walnut and hickory nut specimens from around the state. The samples are judged for the quality and size of their kernels. Prize money will be awarded to the top five entries in each category, with the top black walnut earning $100 and the winning hickory nut $50.
