Heritage Park Museum

The museum will be opened to the public on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 noon - 4:00 PM.

Heritage Park Museum was established by City of Spencer, with the help of several local volunteers, in the old train depot at Heritage Park. The depot was once the hub of trade for Roane County. The leader in organizing the museum project was Mardell DePue Cottle
There are three rooms of items donated for display by native sons and daughters.  These  range from household - farm implements - military - city and county pieces. The dental equipment from the office of the late Dr. H.O. Lance is on display along with some items from his son’s, Granville Lance,  practice, and is a very good history display of Roane County and Spencer.
